Pikes Peak Genealogical Society

Book Selection Committee

The PPGS Book Selection Committee meets three times a year. The next meeting will be 8:30 a.m., April 20, Aspen Room, Penrose Library. The members select books to be purchased by PPGS for the Pikes Peak Library District's genealogy collection in Special Collections. The purchases are funded by PPGS.

If you have titles to suggest, please contact the member responsible for that state or the committee chair, Jan Myers. Please provide title, author, publisher, price, ISBN (if possible), and where to buy the book (genealogy societies, publishers, Amazon, etc.). Some states have more than one person assigned to them because they are of higher interest than others. The committee generally does not purchase books on the history of one family or surname or books in languages other than English.
