Pikes Peak Genealogical Society

Book Committee

The PPGS Book Selection Committee meets three times a year. The next meeting will be Monday, November 5, 8:30 a.m., Pine Room, Penrose Library. The members select books and CDs to be purchased by PPGS for the Pikes Peak Library District's genealogy collection in Special Collections.

If you would like to join the committee or have titles to suggest, please contact the member responsible for that state or province or the committee chair, Jan Myers. Please provide title, author, publisher, price, ISBN (if possible), and where to buy the book (genealogy societies, publishers, Amazon, etc.). Some states have more than one person assigned to them because they are of higher interest than others. CDs/DVDs may also be purchased if the format is PDF. The committee generally does not purchase books on the history of one family or surname or books in languages other than English.

Here's a form you can fill out and send to the responsible committee member: Book Suggestion Form
