Celebrate the Sesquisemiquincentennial! (US 250 / Colorado 150)
Regional History & Genealogy Open House
PPLD is joining the national and statewide celebration with open houses across all 14 Library locations, Regional History & Genealogy, and the PPLD bookmobiles. Visit each stop to learn more about your library, connect with your community, and collect prizes along the way.
At Regional History & Genealogy in the historic 1905 Carnegie Building at Penrose Library, explore El Paso County’s past through interactive games, a scavenger hunt in the stacks, and hands-on access to our Digital Collections. Visitors can also pick up the first of 16 stamps in the CO150–USA250 Passport Program, presented by Colorado Springs Airport, and begin collecting stamps throughout the year at Library open houses.
