CASA: Life Long Links
CASA's Life Long Links program trains volunteers to conduct family search and outreach for children currently involved with the child welfare system. Volunteers review each case to assess whether children have a sufficient amount of healthy family support available to them. If children are disconnected from family or do not know their family's history, CASA's Life Long Links program can step in to help. Palmer Divide Research
A shared, working map of the history of the Palmer Divide, the high ground between Denver and Colorado Springs. It holds 680 places, from the gold camps of 1858 and the stage stops of the 1860s to the sawmills, dairies, fox farms, and one-room schools that came after; 173 of them are living communities today. Each place has a page with what we know and where it comes from. An ongoing project by Michael Christensen.
